Hi guys,

First time posting in here, I'm hopefully going to be off to take a look at one of the above with just over 70k on the clock after work today.

I'm wondering if there is anything specific I should take a look at? Also what's the typical MPG I can expect from 60-70 motorway miles and around 20 miles of A road. None of it is start stop unless there's been an accident somewhere...

Ta!

Not much tbh, it'll be fast and pretty fuel efficient. There's a bit of concern regarding the DPF but if serviced properly and driven hard from time to time you'll be fine smile

Thanks buddy.

What are the chances of it seeing 45mpg do you think? Would be spot on if it could hit very close to that. However, I am aware I'm essentially asking how long a piece of string is haha!

Not worried about DPF's overly, I had a 120D before, and a shorter commute, and had no problems at all!

Depends on the way you drive and the kind of traffic/stop-start situations you get into but 45mpg shouldn't be too hard to get.

Thanks for the reply!

Turns out the C30 wasn't quite right for me, but still have my eye on a couple of Volvo's!

That's cool. I've always thought of the C30 as being a bit small (and dare I say it - ugly?)

The C70 however is a work of art and the folding hard top is like watching nude ballet!

I went on the Volvo UK website the other day to play "build the most expensive Volvo" (just passing the time)

£57k will get you a top spec, fully loaded V70 T6 AWD with 304bhp and AWD.

First year's road tax is............

.....wait for it........

.......Drum roll please..........

£815!!!!!!!!

I'm a big fan of the looks of the C30, ended up getting an S40 2.0D.

Seems to be pretty well equipped, even got the auxiliary port which seems to be a bit hard to find..

If I'd seen that sooner, I would've been very interested!

Nevermind, best of luck!
