Hi, my Sept 2000 XC70 ( model from late '00 - '07 ) has been suffering from a drain on the battery. I've had a local garage look at it and they got an auto electrician in to diagnose. He's put it down to the Central Electric module - CPS - linked to fuse 32. The fix is apparently a new module as this one is not turning off with the ignition ( the cars had a buzzing noise behind the dash ) the garage have said its a Volvo job with the new unit programmed to the car, the cost is around £600 inc coding.

Is it possible to get a second hand part and reprogram etc ? Or can anyone suggest a Volvo specialist in the midlands/Shropshire?

Thanks Bren
