V40 - Satnav - how do I get the woman to stfu?

Weve just bought a new V40 R Design with sat nav and initial thoughts (25miles in) are niiiiiiice.

BUT how the hell do I get that damned woman to shut tf up?

I know I need to turn left, I've only programmed the route to get the traffic!!

I can turn her down but then she cuts out the stereo (which sounds great too btw), I'm sure its in the 400page manual or 200 page supplement and know it'll be somewhere in the "my drive/car" settings but please please help me and let me in on the secret and quick method she's doing my head in.

I picked up a new XC60 R Design Nav D4 AWD (catchy huh?) last week.

To switch off nav lady:
Press Nav key, then Menu, scroll down and select settings (5th one down), scroll down and select guidance settings (4th one down) then top option is voice guidance - untick the box.

That should do it.

Alas I think they must have different systems (is that really possible??)

If I hit the Nav button I only get route options not settings options......

I think you need to press the Nav button - then press the OK/Menu button (the round one - top right) that should give you a bunch of other choices.
