Retrofit Cruise Control 2002 V70 D5

Having just been offered a lovely condition V70 D5 I was slightly hesitant when discovered that it doesn't have cruise control... Being somebody that does lots of motorway miles and has really got used to cruise control on his Passat tdi, I am wondering if it is possible to retro fit cruise control to the car downstream.
If anybody could advise it would be much appreciated.

It may be possible but the cost involved would be enormous.
You are better off looking for one with cruise already fitted.
You would probably have to change the steering wheel to add the controls for it (assuming all the other hardware is already present, which is unlikely) and then it would need a software update to recognise it.
Not worth it, even swapping out the stereo on these is a hit or miss PITA.
Many components are coded to the car so would require a dealer visit or someone with DICE/Vida.
