Replacement V50 key

I have stupidly managed to lose one of my two volvo v50 keys. I have been quoted around £250 to get a replacement
from a dealer. I phoned around and the price seems to be the same at all my local dealerships.
Does anyone know if there are other options to get a replacement? I feel £250 is quite excessive for a key! Or am I just gonna have to bite the bullet and pay up. Thanks.

Bite the bullet and pay up.

You are buying the key blade, remote and then the software upload which can sometimes take a while, so next time be more careful with your keys.
