Blanking EGR Valve D5 Engine....?

I am thinking to blank off my egr valve, but need more info about this.

What are the benefits?

What parts do i need to blank egr?

Would it be good on performance?

What will be the cost to remove it?

Thanks for the reply, I've heard different stories to this. Some say it's good, and some it will cause problems in the long run. I will have a poke around the forums, and see what other say.


My car is a S40 D5, 2007 plate.
