Volvo XC90 when it hits 10 years old....

.... Am I in for a shock at service time?

I was getting something out of the XC over the weekend and in the door shut I noted some dates and whilst I did not take much notice I think it said something about airbags etc hit 10 years old next March, is it going to be a painfull time when it goes in for its annual checkup at CR Volvo?

Don't think so mate. At first Volvo's intentions were to change all the airbags, but they've revised this and it's now just check them.

If you've owned it for 10 years, then you've probably had a few servicing shocks already! My latest was £1350.

Indeed you are not wrong, I now its a big old beast but as they say " They dont build them like the old ones anymore"!

The last years bill (with a 4 wheel drive issue - Dont ask!) was £2200
