I might be looking at getting a V70. Priced at £6250, 79k on the clock, 55 plate. Its the 2.4d geartronic SE.

1 - Is there an easy way to turn the headlights on and off, or are they standard 'always on' drls that are common on volvos.

2 - Anything i really need to be looking out for, if i decide to go and view the car?

3 - Do they play mp3 cd's or have an aux input as standard?

I'm not an expert but have a manual T5 V70 so have some experience.

Turning off the lights is a software job at the dealer, mine has them off.

Main things to watch are front suspension wear (clonks etc), if the main wishbone bushes are badly worn it will torque steer quite badly.

The auto boxes are not that reliable, a friend had to get rid of his V70 D5 auto as it ate the box. The fluid is not designed to be changed (no drain plug) but a specialist can flush it for you.

There are very few problems with these cars and wear their miles well.

Hope this helps?
