Volvo S60 2.4T Smelling of Fuel/ Petrol

I have recently aquired an S60 and when driving along it has a strong odour of Petrol in the cabin. It is obviously an issue that I need rectified immediately. Anyone have any ideas?

I had a simerlar issue with mine the other week, but it was the outside, there wasnt any leaking though.
few days little it began to run realy rough and judder all the time.Think the head gasket has gone on it, but I havn't investigated enough yet to confirm that.

Turns out its the fuel tank sender seals. Getting them done on monday.

Very very common fault - the smell is made worse by running with a full tank

Yep, after taking the rear seats out and removing the plate over the pump it was full of petrol. Not good at all.
