While I'm on here, anybody had any trouble with water getting in through the door seals by the wing mirrors. Depending on where I park at work it can leak like a sieve. Any advice would be gratefully received. It's the canvass roof model by the way 2005 T5 GT if that helps. Thanks in advance.biggrin

Lubricate the seals!!

I used vasaline & it worked a treat, also might be time to restore the hood.

Use auto glym hood restoration kit.

Hmm, ok,I'll try the vaseline as soon as it stops Pcensoredg down. If it ever stops that is...frown. Can't wait for the O.H's reaction when I tell her I need some vaseline "to lubricate me seals love... honest".eek Roof was cleaned and sealed by myself when I bought it a little while back and still seems good (water beading off ok). Thanks for the advice, I'll repost if I have any success.biggrin

Vasaline will sort your problem out.

I had this on my 2005 T5 GT and it fixed the problem!

Right, have had a go at iceboys suggestion of lubricating the door seals to stop water leaking in by the wing mirrors. Sadly it hasn,t worked. (Thanks for the suggestion though biggrin) Does anybody have any other suggestions short of changing the door seals? (Flippers, snorkel) Is there any way to adjust any relevant items to obtain a better seal? Should I take it to a specialist who may have successfully dealt with this problem before? (Any recomendations gratefully received). Should I change the door seals myself but if so would the doors need adjusting to suit which may open up another can of worms? Got to get to the bottom of this it's spoiling an otherwise fabulous car...frown Thanks in advance all.

The window/regulator and mirror positions are adjustable.

The Volvo book time is 1 hour to adjust.

Got my c70 back from MRG volvo on Thursday after reccomendations from here. The main issue was leaks thruogh both door seals, and I mean proper leaking that was leaving pools of water. They ended up keeping it for three days to see if they could sort it without replacing the main ruuber seal as it was a jaw dropping £200 plus yikes. Respect is due as, so far, it has been completely water tight. Nice people, very helpful indeed (lift to and from station) and very happy with the service and especially the price. Very very reasonable for a main dealer. Top people and a top job. Many thanks for all who suggested them. They'll get anymore work that I won,t do from now on.smile
