V50 2.0tdi Remap

Has anyone had their 2l diesel re-mapped for more power/drivability? I'm looking into getting one for the wife/family car and wondered if anyone has done so?

Also what are the main things that go wrong/to look out for on these?

I had that engine in a Mondeo (basically the same as far as I'm aware) and had it chipped/remapped and it it made a very noticeable difference and I was very pleased with the results.
Not only did it feel a fair bit quicker but it also revved much more freely and right up to the red line.
