V70 7seat conversion

I have got a 2000 ( 2001-07 model ) year XC70 2.4t Auto. It's proving to a great dog and child wagon and I've been considering adding the rear facing child seats in the boot, there are a few breakers who seem to have them and I wondered if anyone has any recommendation on how hard to fit they are and any top tips to consider? Ta Bren

I fitted a set a few years ago to a 2004 V70. It's quite straightforward, but I was swopping from one car to another so I could use one as a guide. Watch the seatbelts, they can be tricky and obviously lock tite critical bolts such as these.

Thanks for the reply, I think I'll try and have a look at the parts to make sure I have the tools and fittings necessary, glad to hear someones done it successfully though! Thanks Bren

All done and took about 3 hours including an extra half an hour of trying to sort the seat belts out as I misread the diagram..

iirc there is a new lock to fit to the tailgate for safety reasons,been a few years since I did them but could be wrong.

Don't forget you'll need a space save spare wheel too if you don't have one already. Make sure the space saver can accommodate the brake calipers too
