Can't unlock the drivers door...
Discussion
Mods, please feel free to move this if you feel it fits better elsewhere. This morning I went out to the car pressed unlock on the key fob and everything other than the drivers door unlocked. I tried using the inside button but that didn’t work, and neither did the key.
Obviously this needs fixing, but I was planning to px the car next month, so I’m not keen on spending to much on it. So, any idea if this is likely to be expensive, or if there is a temp fix?
For context, it’s a 2005 Volvo V50.
Thanks

There was problems with poor connections at the multi plug through the door at the A pillar, new wiring looms were introduced to fix this.Obviously this needs fixing, but I was planning to px the car next month, so I’m not keen on spending to much on it. unscrew the front wheel arch liner close to the door and you should be able to reach in and give the rubber wiring loom a little tug, this can reconnect the terminals for a short while and enable the door to open.
