just bought vulva v70 2001

picking it up monday cant wait, 90k miles all history . any idea if the rust warranty is still valid? got a small bit of bubbling on the A pillar

They really dont rust unless they have had a repair. doubt the rust warranty will still be valid - I can almost guarantee the rust will have been caused by some worthless st changing the front screen badly - pick it out, jenolite it to stop it spreading and have it painted at your local body shop

this car is starting to be a pain in the ass, the battery died, which resulted in the passenger door dyeing, fixed that, now its decided to stall and wont rev propperly or hold an idle speed, and to top it all off, a previous owner/mechanic has snapped the transmission dipstick, so i cant read the level, and if its still in the tube it'll not do any good i'm sure.

yep ive heard of that, been told thats a 250 quid fix at a specialist, but volvo have remapped the box and removed the neutral solenoid, seems to have sorted it, going to flush the box in spring
