V40 Mitsubishi GDI engine number location / format?

Sorry, being a bit dim this evening. Just had an engine swap on the V40 and like a responsible citizen going to advise DVLA of the new engine number for the V5, but despite the replacement engine being the same model out of the same year of vehicle, what I believe to be the new engine number is a few digits / character short of the old one of the V5 (didn't actually double check the old engine number before it was binned so V5 may well have been incorrect to start). Anyone able to confirm the digit / character breakdown or if I'm looking in the wrong place please?
