2.4 S80 advise please.....

The FIL has had his 52 plate 2.4 S80 for around 6 months (67k miles). recently it has started to stall when comming off of the power to turn a corner or stop when not fully warmed up. Im thinking this is going to be throttle body related, any other sugestions would be great.

Could well be, but my 51 V70 did the same when I had an ABS sensor fault on the front wheels. Cured by fixing the ABS problem (new rings and one new sensor)

Alas, that sounds like ETM or possibly MAF - has it thrown up the EML light?

Need to get the codes read, but, assuming all other service items are up to scratch, it is likely to be, ETM, MAF or possibly and 02 sensor.

As far as I know, there have been no warning lights. he does have an OBDII reader, will this read the codes?

It did it when it lost the speedo due to the abs sensor not working. Started throwing up engine check light as well as abs lights and brake warning light. I can only assume the throttle needed a speed input to keep the throttle open a bit, or at least let fuel flow under certain conditions.
