D5 205 Exit Exhauts

Apologies anorak question........

Some of the V70's have round whilst others have oval dual (either side of rear bumper) exhausts *.

Is there any signifigance to this. My guess is oval = early 205's whilst round = latter 205's (MY 2010??).






*wonder if it just the R-Design that has round exit pipes?

I suspect so as I think the round ones are a bit chunkier too?

Not something to do with AWD is it? on the "classic" The AWD a different exhaust system
