Don't ask why for a few days, it's complicated (and a little bit quantum...)

Has anyone built a replacement pedal box for a Griff?
If so, any pointers - such as parts that can be bought to save fabrication effort, or templates/dimensioned drawings?

I will supply more detail when I have thought things through a bit more.

Thanks biggrin

Thanks for the offer. It might just work - I will have a look at my friend's T350 in the next couple of days.

This is a question that I have pondered over as well.

I like the pedal boxes from the later cars and have always wondered whether they would fit a Griff.

Does that mean the Pedal Box will not fit in a Griff then?

I don't see why not, I did get my garage to look at doing similar, apart from haveing to add a spar to chassis to mount the PB and bit of sodding around they saw no problem (I just could not get the PB at decent price at the time, 8 years ago), will try and find the cerbera picture, it was teh guy withthe blue supercharged LS1 cerbera

not sure, the t car pedal box has the servo and brake and clutch fluid reservior attatched to the front of it, whereas in the griff the servo and reservior is inside the inner wing above the pedals, so unless the pedal box can linkage can be modded so that the servo stays where it is, then yes you would need very short legs.

That is an interesting point, so the only viable solution would be to modify the linkage and retain the current servo and reservoir location.

Here's a pic from an old eBay listing that illustrates your point rather well.

I wonder how difficult it would be scratchchin

Ah yes the legendary blown LS cerb, it looks good with that pedal box. Good find!

Does the cerb has the same issues as the Griff with the reservoir and servo in the wing?

Plasticman put a T-car pedalbox into my Cerb. I'm 6' and to get it into the right position required a few extra inches than were available at the end of the footwell. These were gained by a bit of fibreglass cutting and reglassing. I don't know if the Cerb footwell and seat position is the same as the Chim/Griff.
