Vauxhall Vectra 1.8/2.0 Injectors in RV8

Hi all,

I am looking for the experiences of anyone who has fitted Vauxhall Vectra 1.8/2.0 Injectors to their Rover V8 TVR.

As I understand it these injectors have a two point spray pattern to suit the double inlet 16 valve arrangement on the Vauxhall engine, but they do work well in the RV8.

I have discussed using these injectors with Mark Adams who has confirmed it is an acceptable modification.

I am keen to get feedback on the following questions:

• FITTING: Are they a direct replacement (same seals & connectors)

• PERFORMANCE: Did you notice any improvements in performance & or economy

On the face of it at £25 for a set of 8 used injectors and £80 to have them ultrasonically cleaned & flow matched it appears to be a very cost effective solution to my tired Lucus injectors.

However before I commit to this path of action your thoughts and experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I done it ! I cant say I noticed any difference or smoother running a big waste of money so far .......
