I've been told that A-Plan and Classic Line seem pretty amenable to serious mods...something I need to sort out in Feb. as I've currently been a erm...a little economical with the truth as I needed to complete the current years insurance in order to expire a previous claim.
Forget A.Mannings if it F.I. tho frown

I’m with Hagerty’s.

Due to costs of all the stuff I have had done, I just increased the agreed value to £17500.

Although the average price of Griff’s has fallen, if I had to replace mine from a total loss with a standard Griff, then fit all the modifications, it would still cost more than the car is insured for.

The warning I was given was that I had gone about as far as I can with engine work and them still cover me. They have a type of business that they write, and I am getting to the edge.

When I mentioned that superchargers are now available they were a no-no as far as they are concerned.

I am careful to list every modification in detail. My concern is that I could be accused of being under insured, even at £17500 due to the modifications. They are coming back to me about that point.
