not a chance I'm afraid ,its too wide across the heads, take a look at the yank lumps instead, they may be pushrods but they will fit. Alternatively fit one of the supercharger kits from Power.

Just went down to check it, would have loved TVR going the Jaguar engine way instead
of desastrous self "engine"ering.

Here are the measures:

TVR Rover V8 L/W/H ca. 65/55/65 cm
Jag V8 (X308) L/W/H ca. 64/68/64 cm incl. SC

both incl. pulleys

The Jag is def. to wide to fit easily

Hope it helps,

regards,

the superchargerd engine would be great in a TVR. the 4.0 version is currently making around 600bhp with a twin screw supercharger and supporting mods (well thats still on stock map and stock fuel system with no internal mods!!).

never mind.

Hi Chris,

would you mind telling me more how to get 600 bhp out of the 4.0SC,
sounds very tempting,

Many thanks,

avos is the guys to tlak to. seems a down to earth guy. from what he has said with justthe upgraded supercharger and exhaust mods they have made nearly 600bhp out of the 4.0ltr engine. this is on the stock injectors!! with the new SC i think there could be more power to come(im guessing he is using around a 2.0ltr blower).

Cheers

Chris.

No reason really just curious you do see the jag engines up for sale every now and then and if one would fit in it may well have been a cost effective alternative .
