Top hat liners and other questions

Anyone had an problems using the top hat liners on a 5.4 build ???

Anyone used a baffled sump on a 5.4

And finally does the sump need a gasket ??

No prob's with the top-hat liners on mine (as far as I'm aware). Other issues though; of which I'll be investigating this weekend.

Not tried a baffled sump and currently not using a gasket, just silicone sealant. If you're about to fit a new sump then be prepared to give it a good pummeling with a ball-pein hammer front and rear to take account of the extra crank throw of a 5.4.
