Trailered the TVRolet for a wee outing today...

...all dressed up in it's street legal finery

Visited the SVA testing station

and...

and...

IT PASSED!!!! bounce

so I now have the formal Minster's Approval Certificate saying it all conforms etc etc readit

Now I've just got to jump through the paperwork hoops to get it registered type. Unfortunately that's going to have to wait until next week now though; but I've been working towards the SVA for years...literally...so I think I'll have a wee drinkie tonight drink

God I love that car. I would sell my Chimaera in a flash to buy it.

(Well, actually, I'd try to raise sufficient funding to have both wink)

Without wishing to pry, if I wanted to commission a Tuscan (road) Racer like yours, how much would I be needing to budget if I wanted someone else to do the work?

Ballpark figure - £40k, £50k, £60k?

Done properly, I'd guess towards your higher estimate, rather then the lower. When I was sorting through all the receipts for mine I had to stop at the point I felt a coronary omming on!

cloud9 and as of a couple of hours ago, not a 'major mod' anymore, but a bona fide 2007 registered Tuscan Challenge smile

On the other thread about the NEW REGISTERED car So, more here http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...smile

I put them in General TVR and Gossip section as it's a proper car now (says so in the V5) and not a 'mod' wink

Aha yes - not a mod - like it. My Griff200 will be "Standard" by that way of thinking then.

Loverly - Drive it like you stole it. (On the track).
