Whats involved in changing a RV8 4.5 to 5.0 or higher?... and at what sort of costs would there be?
Ive seen a few 500 owners have gone to 5.2. Is it worth the grief... just intrigued?

Get a late (large main journal) 90 m/m crank and 500 pistons and rods and Roberts your fathers brother as they say.

5.2 / 5.3 are quite expensive £3K + generally for the short motor (depending on where you go).

Bored of the extra power already then? I do know of a 500 short motor for sale!

Yup, my 98 5 litre (with recent H404 cam) is for sale too; will be in the PH adds when I've made it look all nice 'n' shiny! smile
