We have spent the last 2 afternoons trying to fire my LS into life, using an MBE ECU which has supposedly been configured to suit, firing order seems right, fuel pressure 56-58 psi, spoke to SBD about this they have given us a 20 degree base map setup to at least start somewhere, but just chug chug chug bang! Any ideas external from the ECU on a Cerbera, in fact any ideas atall?

would carb cleaner down the plenum work to isolate fuel or ignition problem?

What pick up and trigger are you using? If standard trigger wheel and sensor then it won't work. Is it the set up that worked before or has anything changed? Guess you've switched to the tiff ecu? Are you using a cam sensor?

At the risk of sucking eggs... Is the MBE box set to internal or external amplification? This was one thing I had to make sure of when I MBE'd my Westfield. Depends on the coil pack you're using.

In all fairness, it was set to internal amplification we then swapped to external, then it still didnt fire, we found 3 drivers down, but the one that was working was 1&6 driver which gave us a strobe light reading banghead

If only 1&6 was working, is the ECU knackered? SBD (where I got mine from) were very keen to stress that if this setting was incorrect, you'd cook your ECU.

Not that I think it is this, but is high 50's pis on the fuel enough - thought LS's needs alot more - you are not still running the TVR one are you?

Mine ran onthe RV8 much lower pressure one but was alot better when we go a much higher pressure bosch one.

Its on 56psi and running like a dream on best guess map, thanks to Craig, if it goes any better when its been properly mapped, i will be well chuffed. It doesnt clank rattle or roll, the guys at TVR power saw the install today when i got a couple of bits and were very impressed!
