has anyone fitted a v6 cossey into a s3

is it a worth while conversion and how much would you expect to pay for an engine

It's very worthwhile but not just about the "engine" which could need freshing up before the install. Power would be from 200-220 bhp to over 450 bhp.

It can be quite expensive if you go the whole hog, less turbo's.

Oh, I forgot to answer that bit. Used engines are typically between £400 & £500 but there's always a risk. I won't supply and fit a used engine that's not been overhauled for obvious reasons. Then you need a shortened loom and exhaust headers plus relocate the alternator. It's probably a good way to go.

thanks there is an engine on ebay have to keep an eye on
or did you buy a complete car to do the conversion

You need to get the engine, loom, ecu and work from there.
