Oh and by the way - the car in the pic is a base spec LS1 Corvette w ith 345bhp – no Z06 badges on the car as you would expect and the ZO6 only came with a special notch back body style not the std (like this coupe backed one!) – even if it was a Z06 (which it isn’t) they were 385bhp not 405bhp until the 01 / 02 year!). Mine is the later 02 - 04 spec late one.
Oh and you can get a low milage LS1 in US (with a t56 not ideal for the TVR) for $1500 - 2000! pre shipping and duties!
Their advert isn't very clear, and nor is your email to them.
Are they saying that they have a Corvette for breaking / sale and are suggesting that it could be purchased for a Chimaera project similar to yours? I'd assume so.
I'd be more explicit in your email response and point out that they are implying that you have crashed your car "as featured in Sprint" and that they are breaking it, in which case you are not best pleased and are considering further action.

what's the problem?
They haven't sought permission from Sprint or from Jon, as far as I can see.
The advert is also pretty misleading as it is unclear as to whether they are saying "look! you too could have a Corvette-engined Chimaera if you buy this Corvette wreck we have" or, worse, implying that Jon has wrecked his vary rare and slightly famous Chimaera and they are selling the wreck for repair.
Either way, it's out of order.
