I used the Kenne Belle items years ago. Nicely made but the geometry wasn't perfect. With hindsight I probably wouldn't bother with them again. Are you planning on high rpm's? Yella Terra make nice RR's for the rv8.

I have them in my seac

Although I don't think they really are necessary for non radical cams (248, 256 etc..)

They do look nice though

in my opinion, and who has ever taken that seriously

Roller rockers are good in any Rover when considering the issues with cam wear, soft std followers against steel etc.

We all tend to forget that the Rover V8 originally produced 135hp. our engines with anything from 250hp plus actually have pretty wild cams in std TVR form. let alone you mad tuners out there who feel they need more than 320hp

They dont necessarily give more power, unless specified with a higher lift ratio. What they do do is significantly take the valve train loads away from the engine which in turn can allow even wilder cams than the already wild ones fitted.

in short. long life to a std engine or more reliable operation with a wilder cam.

Its just a shame that Rover compared to US engines are quite scarse and as such rover parts are too expensive for what they are. US sourced spares often work out as good value.

Are we talking about the same pushrod RV8?

Roller rockers are good in any engine????????

Its just whether you can justify their cost of purchase / use of the engine.

whichever argument you follow you cannot deny that they are a far superior engineering method of controlling the valve train

Better add "any OHV engine" just in case we experience any further nit picking.

Fair enough, just don't understand what 'issues with cam wear, soft std followers against steel etc' you think they will address in an RV8.
