I need an MBE black box type (941)needed just to run fuelling on single cylinder engine for college project. As this system is used on many late TVR's and I believe some have been replaced under warranty .Something cheap/faulty would probably do, and I'll take the chance of coaxing it back to life.

I think the responses you got here www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=222800&f=13&h=0 from the same posting earlier remain valid....

Sorry I've not qualified this properly.
We already run the unit on an MBE 941 and I have all the mapping software but the ECU belongs to another car so we have to borrow it each time we use it.
The project is actually an Eco-marathon car that does 1600mpg and runs on propane gas, and we had help from TVR when we developed it.

surely then TVR would be the logical choice for an ecu?

They've changed hands in the mean time and some of the personel have changed. I can get a new one at a heavily discounted price but the budget for the project will not stand it.I am merely asking the question if anyone has something surplus lying about.
