RV8 High Performance clutch options?

I have a McLeod RST clutch fitted which has always been very heavy in operation, apparently it shouldn't be! It's just split and bent my clutch fork.
McLeod have offered to check the pressure plate which means sending to the US which is costly and will take time.
My thoughts are in biting the bullet and putting in something completely different.
The master, slave and fork are all good or new.
Criteria is that ideally I want an OE feel to the peddle and that it must handle 400bhp and 430 ft lb.
There doesn't seem to be many, (any) real options out there so I thought that someone should have an alternative, any ideas?
My lightweight flywheel is drilled for the McLeod twin plate spacing, (10.5" dia I believe).

I'm a fan of the Mcleod street twin but have noticed that Mantic are offering a really good product that I think probably betters the RST.
At your power level you may be lucky enough to find a single plate that works but may have to compromise on spring poundage or friction materials. I'd check out Mantic though or Spec.

When I was in a similar situation there wasn't. The only UK plates I could find were paddle items and those are flipping awful on a road car. Racers will use 7-8" inch clutches and multiple discs but that's not cheap.
I fitted a chevy sbc Mcleod twin to my engine and I bet one of those would be quite cheap today. I had to put 3 slots in the bell housing though. A single disc version Mcleod street pro is rated at 400 hp and it's quite a good price but would need to be modified for a Rv8.

Well given the options, I am going to send the RST back to McLeod as they requested as there may be a fault with it, (their suggestion).
I have something coming from Powers tomorrow so will have a looksee but i don't think that the bolt pattern will fit.

Hence why manufacturers (well most of them anyway) spend millions on development and testing so the end product is reliable. We come along and we think we can bolt bits on, make it faster etc and are surprised when it breaks.
I reckon your new Kuhmo’s are that grippy that when you tried a prompt get away, rather than smoke the tyres, you blew the clutch....
