Some progress.

New chassis with additional engine bay width to accommodate an exhaust system and allow proper maintenance - care of SD Autotech.

Body needed to be opened out down the tunnel to allow it to be dropped back over the chassis. Professionally done by Surface and Design.

Should be on the road later this year after Trim Unique have worked their magic.

If this doesn't represent the ultimate M-development (huge attention to engineering detail), it would be difficult to conceive of what might...
Well done for the courage to proceed Mr Simpson!

No spare at all Bernard, having driven T cars for the last 12 years with only a sealant for repairs, I guess I don't even think about a spare now.

Come to think, I've never carried a spare for the motor bikes I've ridden over the years either.. smile

Hopefully that's not me speaking too soon.........

Thanks Jhonno, I am sure it will nip along nicely when finally run in and ignition timing advanced a little. smile

Congratulations! Nice work!
Happy you are in UK. In France, if you just want to put a bigger carburetor or bigger brakes, and still stay legal, it's almost impossible. Else, you have to pray for not having an important accident because insurance experts may find the modifications.

Looks magnificent, sufficiently developed to look special yet under-stated for all that (OK, except for the scaled-up bonnet bulge which has a practical purpose) and bet it sounds quite good too! Love the 'classic/solid' colour and period polished slot-alloys. Indeed all of the attention to detail; many congratulations, it's positively inspirational...
