Question for anyone with a T56

As per my previous post, considering a T56 for the Cerb. Before I take the plunge, I guess I should really find out what they are like! So, how does it compare to the T5 for shift quality, noise, gear change speed etc?
Any thoughts appreciated.
I have a T56 in my LSA powered Chimaera. When new it was very tight and stiff to change gear but now after 3000 miles it is very easy and quick and precise to select. I don't have any linkages, the stick comes straight out of the box with just a small rubber bush so you don't feel any vibration through your hand. Seams to handle the 625hp without any issues, the 6th gear makes for economical-ish cruising. Transmission noise and vibration is noticeable if I allow the revs to drop to 1000 rpm in 3rd or 4th then accelerate hard, but its not an issue for me and seems to be getting less noticeable the more miles I do.Any thoughts appreciated.
Mark don't you have a Magnum in yours??? If so I think you will find this is miles away from a standard T56 in terms of gear change. I've got the TR6060 in mine (almost on the road) and this is the later version of the T56 and feels great. There are a few others that have them in the car Quinny has one in his Griff.
I think the only person that may have an older T56 is Boosted Cerb probably mail him for experiences.
They all seem to handle a decent amount of abuse
Do you have a gearbox yet??
