Well now the oil leak is fixed its time for the next problem lol. For some strange reason the rev counter ( both analog and digital ) stop working when the car gets hot. I normally get about 15 to 20 minutes of driving before the problem starts but can be less of more depending on the ambient temperature. If I get stuck in traffic it's almost certain it will stop working but as soon as I get moving on the open road is slowly returns. It has been suggested that it's a dash ecu problem but surely some other parts of it would be affected as well not just the rev counter. It was also suggested buy another person the main ecu may be getting to hot as it mounted just behind the engine about the gearbox. Any ideas please ? I am running an LS3 with a TK0 600.

it sounds like a joint or dry joint breaking with heat, [perhaps a simple wire connection is a bit loose). have to trace it with the engine running and see what happens you could use a multimeter, but intermittent faults are hard to locate.

Ok will try that. It's going to be a pain for sure.
