Hi all. I have big oil leak from my tko600 gearbox. Has anyone else had a similar problem or know of any common problems with this box? It's only done 3000 miles :-(

Front, mid or rear of Box? Have it been opened at any time?

Box is brand new along with the engine. Looks like it coming from the middle.

check the fill hole, I've seen them weep there which will run down the middle of the box

check also the seal for the shifteon top of the box r, you can have a good "feel around" from underneath if you can't access the shifter easily. there is normally a seal there that i have seen leak

check for overfilling, sometimes if they're overfilled they will blow out the breather

if it is the middle split line for the box, check the torque on the bolts.

check also the speedo sensor plugs, they're o ring seals, which can be damaged easily and leak

Mine was also brand new and leaked through the rear oil seal. After replacement everything was fine.

The box came out today and it was the breather on top leaking like a fountain. Put a modified breather pipe on and now it vents up into the engine bay and have had no leaks. Think it's fixed.
