Will the LsA engine fit under the chimaera bonnet ? or is there more powerfull N/A engines available .

Is it a stock LS3 with a superccharger fitted then sold as a complete unit?

Fit, Yes (Sportmotive are putting one in a Chim).

More powerful n/a engine, yes again, but that would be a more expensive engine which is more "cammed".

BUT

e.g. a 550bhp LS7 vs a 550bhp LSA. The LS7 would have less torque and produce the power at higher revs. In a TVR which would give a better delivery, be friendlier to drive?

(It is also possible to get a LS3 plus aftermarket supercharger kit later on).

Might want to look at either the Edelbrock Eforce supercharger or the Eaton heartbeat SC. Both will fit under the stock bonnet of the Corvette so should fit better than a LSA (which looks tall). They also use the larger TVS2300 supercharger like the ZR1's LS9 engine.

Either of the above should make 550-600bhp on a stock LS3 motor. Eforce is easier to get hold of, and is more tested, than the Hearbeat. However Eaton has made some big promises about heat soak and performnace of the Heartbeat unit.
