What is a good one and has a reasonable price? My current one has hardly been used but seems to have had to much punishment already............

I would just go with a fast 92 or 102. Proven design and although they might be a bit pricey they work really well!

I have just bought a Fast 102 for mine its a work of art.

Luckily there was nothing wrong with the throttlebody. I am interested if there is someone who has the same experience as my tuner/ecu-fitter. When you get your foot from pedal the rpm's drop very rapidly. The TB is that big that when the engine pulls vacuum it often stalls when stopping for the traffic light or when shifting. It is now solved with a mercedes part. A "butterfly-damper". I do not know how to translate it otherwise. Because of this part the butterfly does not shut so sudden and therefore the engine does not stall.

It did stall a couple of times after i collected the car, but it is probably due to getting used to the car again.

It is a cablethrottlebody 90mm. Are there other who had the same? How was it solved?

never had an issue with that....though the throttle to idle transition can be hard to map properly, it can be done.

You normally use the advance idle control to "catch " the motor and control idle , or use the std stepper motor in the TB , personally I would not buy a fast TB as they stick if you shut the throttle slowly , the spring is not man enough . I believe they have improved this now but it's so annoying when the stick !! Nick Williams or Holley are better ,

What they did was get rid of some power (aaarrgghhhh) low in te revs to make the car more controllable they said. They also fitted a sort of absorber on the TB, so the butterfly doesn't close so suddenly. It is a springloaded damper from old mercedes and it works just fine. The car is a lot more driveable as far as i could experience right now. My battery is broken now, so i lose another weekend cerb driving right now.
