T5 gearbox

Does anyone know if the spigot shaft on the speed 6 T5 box is the same as the Cosworth T5 box? Putting a Cosworth YB turbo in my mk1 escort Mexico and would prefer the gear stick further forward like on the TVR.Regards,Steve.

That's more of a consequence of what tailshaft assembly is used.

Im putting a T5 from a Tomara into my Cobra, the spigot is 15mm,
