ECU For LS3

Ok, was hoping for some opinions on different ECU choices for my LS3 conversion, emerald, motec etc?
I know cost is a deciding factor, but the car will only ever be a road and track toy so don't need to go crazy!

No matter the price or fancy extra's it will be only as good as its mapper IMO

So your question should be who is the best mapper? and use what he/she recommends

Agreed, but would that not be the process after deciding which system best suited your needs and budget, and then finding the best guy for that particular system?

For a mid price point Id go DTA, better made than emerald and accuracy better

Ive got a 100 mile old Omex 710 Ecu for sale , we used it in the Tuscan with the speed six in there , it was the Racing Green conversion for the speed six engine , it needs to be sold as the whole kit thou as everythng with the kit is usless without the ecu , There pretty good as Warren @ Topcats is using it on the LS7 powered race cars..

Unfortunately my thread has been removed about my ls conversion. What interested me in this thread was wat tinker-27 wrote about the ecu in combination with the ls coil packs.

The emarald seems to support this. Are there other brands of ecu's that support the ls coil packs directly?

What is different about the ls coilpacks. Does it want 8 individual signals?

We've run plenty of LS's off emerald & GM ECU's I really wouldn't consider any other options
