I'm looking at doing a driving course in my Tvr but don't really know which one to go with. All the courses I've looked at seem the same. Any help would be great.

What are you looking for? Developing your road driving, track driving or a bit of both?

Cheers

find your local RoADA group

http://www.roada.org.uk/groups/index.htm

tip up the £20 or so to join for the year and do as many sessions as you like with whichever of their instructors suits your style best

I strongly recommend Andy Walsh at Carlimits www.carlimits.com he instructs off road at venues in Hampshire and at North Weald north of the M25. I have done several of his courses and activity days in both my TVR and Ferrari and learned a lot in spite of being a rally driver. His techniques will improve your car control on road and track and his venues have space to allow you to explore your car's handling at the limit and beyond. Have fun smile

PS if you fancy meeting a few of us for a mini hoon and a BBQ check out:

Hi Shaun,

Bit of a late reply to your post, but try www.RideDrive.co.ukthumbup
Worth contacting Julian at Ride Drive, who can listen to what you want and talk through the options. I did one of their 'accredited' courses, which was superb.

RideDrive have a lot of TVR experience, working for the TVR owners club.

Forget Car Limits, as this isn't their expertise. RoSPA or IAM might be OK, but it's pot luck whether they have a decent instructor. I'd strongly recommend RideDrive, because you'll get top notch instruction and a really enjoyable course!
