We've got Peter Rodger, the new Cheif Examiner visiting this months group meeting, and there will be a Q&A session at some point.

I will be asking some questions along the lines of where is the IAM going, why such low uptake of anyone under 35, how to get under-25s more interested.

What would you guys ask him? smile

Why under-25s as opposed to any new driver? I didn't learn to drive until I was 26, so I was excluded from their promotional offer. This despite not being significantly better than an 18 year old who had just passed his test.

I was in the same situation, but 25+ seem to be more aware of their mortality.

There is a news story every winter in my district about a young guy been driving for less than 12 months kills himself by driving to fast round a corner.

Not necessarily excluding 25+ but more probably biased to those under 25.

They are not. But they do seem to backing use of ever more specific limits.

Do they no longer believe that the main way to improve safety is to educate drivers?

What percentage reduction in recruits do they expect from the increase in the cost of SFL? Why do they think this is a better way to balance the books than by cutting costs?
