Waiting lists for the tests.

Just wondering here how long on average people had to wait between sending in the form and actual test date?

I sent in my form on Wednesday 14th January, recieved a phone call Saturday 17th from the examiner and I have my test on Tuesday 20th January! This is with the IAM Barnsley Group. We have one lad who has been waiting from just before christmas in our group... No idea why I have been placed in ahead of him!

Kind of unnerving as I expected a few more observed runs before having to take the test (Had my last today)... But what can you do!

There may be more than one examiner for the Barnsley area e.g. an examiner who might cover South Barnsley down to North Rotherham, and perhaps another one who does Barnsley up to Wakefield borders or something like that. Tests get allocated by post code I think so it could depend where the lad lives exactly. He might not be with the same examiner as you. (or IAM have lost his form !!)
