After an uncharacteristic moment on a dual lane roundabout last week, I think I may have though of the ideal xmas present to ask for!

The issue was caused by some adverse road conditions, something that I haven't experienced to such a level before, luckily I got away without any accident here but it has been playing on my mind a tad. I certainly couldn't see anything wrong with the road surface on entry but obviously it was a bit more slippery then expected.

So basically I am after some form of performance driver training, whether it be on an airfield/skidpan kind of thing. I have done a few track days with my other car before and will do next year but any car control practice is always useful in my mind. The main issue is I am thinking this could be an ideal christmas present to ask for, so it can't be too expensive, and having seen the links thread it would seem that something like this may not exist? I am based in the east midlands but don't mind travelling a bit, so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Another option - http://www.track-masters.co.uk/index.asp

They have free instruction at their track days
