I'd like to become an advanced driver

BUT!
I feel that from reading through the many threads on here that I would end up getting bogged down in the detail rather than concentrating on the actual driving.
At the moment I am constantly trying to improve my driving by picking up various hints on here and I would like to think it has helped me out although obviously that could mean applying them wrongly.
What is the best way to learn? Is there anybody in N.Lincs who could show me what it is all about?
Steve

I know a gentleman who lives just t'other side of the Humber bridge from you. He's an IAM Observer and a driving enthusiast (it doesn't always follow ) so I'm going to recommend him. PM me for details, and if you can't find somebody nearer your own immediate area, he may be willing to help. We can but ask.I feel that from reading through the many threads on here that I would end up getting bogged down in the detail rather than concentrating on the actual driving.

Well I've just had my first advanced 'experience' with Adam and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it
Many thanks have to be said for not ripping my driving to bits and also for showing me how it is done.
Now if only I could master not braking and changine gear at the same time..

Nice one Steve
I assume you're enthused more than ever to go all the way

Very much so, I was afraid I would be either completely out of my depth or put off by a 'stuffy, flat cap wearer'! I assume you're enthused more than ever to go all the way
K
Neither of which was the case thankfully
To anybody hesitant about AD I would realy recommend seeing what it is all about, it certainly isn't as scary as you may think.
