Hi
Following on from my heel and toe thread.
I owned a MK1 MX5 years back - (before I could H&T) and I loved it.
I fancy another - Are the pedals set up well for H&T as I really want this from my next car.

I have small feet - I currently Have a Mk3 Golf Gti and I can not physically H&T in it and it is anoying me.

So any MK1 MX5 owners out there? - Pedal set up good for H&T?... before I take the plunge

Thanks

I heel and toe every down shift without problem in the trainers I choose for driving. Driving to the gym in some chunkier ones can make it more of a challenge.

I second the above, even wearing fairly thick soled shoe it is a piece of cake in my MX. Ironically my work horse estate is not too bad either. (Pedal positions/angle on many Euro cans are not usually very H & T friendly) However, I do not advocate H & T for the sake of it as the 'System' deals adequately with most road conditions and speeds. I was rather surprised to see the quote about doing it for everydown change on an A/D forum. What happened to and general planning, gear/speed and a flowing driving ?. Most of my normal driving as done without any need of the brake pedal unless stoppin !!!
