Silverstone do training and selection days for ARDS instructors. They used to be free, but the last time I applied they wanted about £300. If you send a racing CV through then they write to you when the next day's coming up.

How much racing experience do you have? When I went on my day there I'd been racing for about five years, but in only one championship, and I was rejected on the basis of not having enough racing experience; despite the fact that I'm a trainer by profession anyway so have that ability well practised. We started the day by standing up in front of everyone and talking about our racing experience, and it was a constant emphasis throughout.
