Chauffeur Training (Defensive and Protection Driving)
Discussion
I'm interested in developing my driving skills. I'm a professional driver at the moment, but would like to take my driving to the next level in terms of smoothness and progression. This is with a view to entering the chauffeur market.
I think that a premium car service should include a premium driver, so ideally I would like to send a hand picked bunch of my best drivers for a bit of training as well.
We hold a couple of contracts with the government, and it'd be quite nice to get involved in some of the convoy and protection work that could become available, and then extend that to VIP's.
Does anyone have any experience with this style of driving?

As well as Cadence check out these guys too for a full VIP type course.

If this isn't a blatent ad, and any mod can delete if they see fit, Cadence has done such training work in the past.
This isn't a blatant ad. Why the need to attack in the first post of a thread? I got a similar response last time I posted in this sub-forum!

If this sounds condescending, it's not meant that way so please don't take it that way.
Make sure you know exactly what you are getting & that it's something you need/adds value to your business.
Don't waste your money unnecessarily, because it can get expensive.
What sort of convoy/protection work are you anticipating you'll get from the government (if you don't mind me asking) ?

And also make sure you understand exactly what qualifications people have tor claim to have. I do know of certain people (no name and shame here) to claim to have certain teaching qualifications when that is absolutely not the case.
Still, it keeps them in the business of money for old rope.
Finally, don't forget that to teach Advanced Driving all you really need to be is an ADI.

I have had two associates who were chauffeurs - one was a driver for a company MD who paid for the course (in a big Lexus) the other was a private lad (in a long wheelbase Jag)...both said that they got something out of it.
Plus - the badge on the window and on your advertising can impress the uninitiated ..and it is inexpensive and gives a good grounding for more detailed coaching.

Which Badge, the IAM?
"All of our drivers are members of the IAM"...not all of your customers will read Pistonheads and say 'So what?

Quite so.Both Cadence and Bespoke are genuine. They offer some of the highest quality driver training in the country. (I speak from personal experience of both.)
Genuine can mean a whole host of things.
All I'm suggesting is before parting with cash, take the time and effort to find out who and what skills you are buying into.
