Well recovered!

Pity the microphone can't pick up the squelching noise of his undies as he gets back into the car... hehe

Looks like fun, an adrenaline rush no doubt. Fortunate not to have hit a crash barrier or, for that matter, anyone else.

Do you think the warning signs at 38 secs were relevant? And do you think he should have been able to react once the oil on the road came into sight?

I think his recovery was excellent - skill played a large part in keeping him out of the crash barriers. I don't think he could have done that with pull-push.

I did not think much of his overtake at 33 secs, or of stopping in lane 1 after the event.

Its been discussed on another thread, apparently the signs were just a a warning of roadworks coming up.

He did well (or was lucky) to recover from the slide and initial overcorrection.

ETA: discussed here (and just noticed the OP has also posted on the other one. http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Fair play on catching it !!!

But I wouldn't have stopped where he did; firstly it's a "live" lane, and secondly if anybody else hits the same oil (weird how they didn't) chances are they'll land on him!
