I'm afraid I know next to nothing about further driving tests and courses, but thought the readers of this sub-forum might be interested in this article.

Pass Plus is really the first step towards real driving, but nowhere near Roadcraft standard. Well done to the lad, though he did say it was more for reducing his insurance than to actually become a better, safer driver...
ETA: Aye, I read it that he'd done DSA, PP, then a proper advanced test.

The article is not that clear, however, follow a few links and it looks like he passed the full IAM test
