Advanced in the South East
Discussion
I have just bought an Exige S and having driven it for few weeks I am convinced that advanced training of some kind is called for. I have had advanced bike training in the past through a service staffed by ex and current police officers which massively increased my confidence and ability on a bike on the road. I would like to do something similar. I have heard a lot about Andy Walsh and while it is a bit of a trek it sounds like it may be the ticket. However, is anyone aware of a similar service in the South East, preferably Kent, Sussex or Surrey. I may do one or two track days next year but primarily I will drive on the road.
Try www.ridedrive.co.uk - I live in your area and RideDrive found an utterly brilliant instructor locally. An ex-police pursuit instructor who was great
The IAM thing is good and worth doing. However, a professional police instructor would generally be miles better
Hope this helps
