A naturally talented road driver: Is there such a thing?
Discussion
I have always thought it amusing how nearly every male thinks he is a good driver, but tends to be more realistic regarding his other skills.
That is, he will tend to admit if he is not a natural sportsman, if he is not particularly academic, if he can't do car mechanics etc etc.
Is there a good indicator of who will find it easier to become an advanced driver?
The guy who is a natural sportsman? The guy who is good at chess (can think 10 moves ahead)? The guy who never loses his temper? The guy who can juggle on a uni-cycle?
Or is it a skill totally unrelated to any other ability we may have?
I would be interested to hear the instructors' view/experience on this.

Well at least I have an attitude - but I'm sure it'll be the wrong one.
Best wishes all,
Dave.
Von,
"Shouldn't that be further sub divided to just good attitude rather than attitude full stop ?"
I did not think it neccessary to sub divide my comment at the time I posted...it seemed to be self understood?
If my post, and your response, generates a discussion here about 'attitude'...we might just save one knock on the door for you sometime.?
I copy, print, and give some of your comments to my punters...respect!

Quite right too - and I'm sure Von will appreciate the royalties rolling in. "Shouldn't that be further sub divided to just good attitude rather than attitude full stop ?"
